About (Previous Design)

I’m a laid-back guy who was born and raised in California, but am currently calling the Pacific Northwest my home. When I’m not working I can be found enjoying a good, long walk with my pup, at the gym, or working on projects around the house.

Starbucks

Creative manager
2018 – present

Senior Designer
2014 – 2018

In my current role as Creative Manager on the Starbucks Stories team I support the creative development and execution of social impact and public affairs initiatives. We amplify company, partner, and customer stories that align to the company’s mission and values through print, digital, and social media campaigns. Our team of designers work closely with brand managers and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality, thoughtful designs, concepts and strategies that maintain and elevate the Starbucks brand across the globe. Other responsibilities include art direction, project resourcing and management, as well as team and individual development.

As a Senior Designer within the Starbucks Global Creative Studio, I worked with a team of four designers developing in-store promotional concepts and brand initiatives for all international store locations. Responsibilities included leading projects from concept to execution, art direction at photoshoots, trend forecasting, and mentoring of younger designers. Responsibilities also included management of all Latin America promotional design work and client relations. By working closely with Creative Managers and Project Managers my goal was to ensure all projects released on time and on budget, while meeting the strategic business objectives set out by our business partners.
